Jose,

thank you very much for your great work and effort to collect students,
code and money for the GNU project! Although it's not quite over yet, so
far it's been smooth and a great success for GNU Radio.

I have to disagree with you here: I think the fairest way to go about this
is to have a random drawing among all interested active mentors for *both*
slots. I don't see why any specific sub-organization should be preferred,
do you?
