I would like to draw your attention to a few new items on the Swarm wiki.

One is a new series of template models: 16 working models that start extremely simple and sequentially add common features such as space objects, graphs, probes, random number distributions, and file input and output. The models are implemented in MASON, NetLogo, Repast, and Java and Objective-C Swarm. These template codes can be used to compare platforms, help you get started using them, and provide examples of how to do common tasks.

Second is a set of explicit instructions for using Java Swarm (and, separately, Repast and MASON) in Eclipse. Eclipse is a very powerful and popular integrated development environment that helps you write and debug Java code in many ways. But it is complicated and getting started can be frustrating. These instructions help you install Swarm in Eclipse, import models or start new ones, and edit and debug them.

These can be found from the "Software resources" section at: http://www.swarm.org/wiki/ABM_Resources
