a lonely "Abort"

hi, Manor - I was wondering if you could tell me what 
.../swarmobject/swarm_rts_routines.m 
does - it says it's your patch, as it were....
My problem is that after running my program in batch mode for a few hours I get 
a lonely "Abort" message... and everything stops
 Now this file seemingly contains the only lonely abort() call (i.e. no 
explanatory messages) I can find ... 
it uses it after case: _C_ARY_B  fails
or as the default....
What is this checking for?
Can you help?
