Flow Space

Hi !

We want to include flow in our simulation as our agents live in flowing water.

To do this I would like to make a general flow space class. Given a position it 
would return a flow vector. The underlying flow data could be precalculated, 
calculated on the fly or read from a file.

The class should have a sister class which displays the data as arrows, 
contours, whatever.

Not wanting to reinvent the famous wheel (again) : Has anybody done this 
already ?
