placing graphs & bugdisplays in virtual space

An involved simulation may create quite a number of windows (probe displays,
world/heatspace displays, graphs) when you hit 'go'. 

Is there a way to specify from within a swarm program where on the screen
such windows appear, and in what size?

More hopeful: is it possible to communicate with the window manager, so that
swarm windows may pop up in other parts of the virtual display (I have a 3x3
desktop) than the one where the 'go' button is located?
