Linux vs. NT....(yet again) |

Hi,
I know I've asked this before, but recent experiences have brought it to
my conscience yet again.
Should I bother installing Linux with the upcoming swarm (for NT)
release? The reason I ask again, is that all the problems I have been
having leads me to wonder, if maybe I should just leave well enough
alone and not mess with my system any more than I have to.
Currently I have WinNT and Win95 installed on my home system, I am
thinking that the next step to my attempting to install linux is to
uninstall all my win95 stuff, and reinstall it, as well as win95 after I
install Linux. This will be a major undertaking and I would like to
avoid it if possible. But, if there is a undercurrent in the swarm
community which says I shouldnt give up on linux too soon, I will do the
"Move".
Also a consideration, if the conversion from Unix/ObjC to NT is a major
undertaking, maybe I will have added interest in Linux on my home PC.
Thanks for any hints, or comments you may have.
Brad.
PS. I already have Linux at work, so its not like I'm waiting around to
even start with Swarm, its just that I hoped to install swarm at home
also to be able to work on it at nights and weekends...
Thanks.
