Hi Alex

How right you are!  Apparantly I was not looking at swarm 1.1 docs,
but simply the results of an excite search from the swarm web pages.
Anyhow, I had asked the question prematurely, as the answer was as
plain as could be on the "porting guide from 1.05 to 1.1" notes.  I
would express my chagrin if I knew how to spell it...

   Incidentally where did you find docs for 1.1?  We, errm, actually
   never released any 1.1 documentation (since we were converting to the
   new improved auto-generated SGML version) ;-) The last HTML release
   was 1.0.5 and then we skipped to 1.2 for the SGML version.
