I agree.  But, I would guess you could build pixmaps that contain 
words that could actually *be* the bug's representation.  But, this
doesn't allow for either lots of text or many different textual 
representations.  So, it's pretty ugly.

Ideally, what I'd prefer to see is a kind of probe with a given 
latency so that when you either put your focus on a bug (place the 
mouse on top of it) or click on the bug, a little window like a 
help box on micro$loth or in Netscape pops up and follows the bug 
for some period of time.  This could be done with Swarm; but, again
it would be pretty ugly, I suspect.  All you'd need is a reference
to the xy point clicked in the X-frame and in the Tk frame, instantiate
a little window with text in it, then move that window as the relationship
between the bug and the X-frame changes.

I would have thought Tk would already have a similar capability, maybe
all we'd have to do is link it to the Raster code in Swarm?
