I don't have the original $SWARMHOME/etc/swarm/Makefile.appl cause
after that I ran two or more times 'configure --disable-shared' from
scratch (trying to solve the "objc runtime: cannot find class..."
problem). When I was having problems with libffi, I was not using the
flag '--disable-shared', dont know if these things are related though.
