drawing on ZoomRaster

Hi,
I'm trying to draw ellipses on a ZoomRaster with the following line of code:

    [display ellipseX0: [[allWorkers get] getXpos]*10 Y0: [[allWorkers get] getYpos]*10 X1: [[allWorkers get] getXpos]*10+10 Y1: [[allWorkers get] getXpos]*10+10 Width: 1 Color: 1];

display is a ZoomRaster, the coordinates given are within the limits of the ZoomRaster, and I call [display drawSelf] after, yet no ellipses appear on my ZoomRaster! Can anyone suggest why this might be? Thanks,
