Compile error 1.4.1

Greetings to all,
I am in the process of upgrading to from swarm1.3.1 to swarm 1.4.1 on linux 
2.2.1 (SuSE5.1)
I have upgraded to gcc2.8.1, tcl8.0, tk8.0 and  blt2.4g 
and reinstalled libz, libpng, libffcal and  tclobjc-1.4
to try to beat this with no luck.

The error occurs in swarm-1.4.1/src/tkobjc/internal.m
this is the last bit of the compile messages

In desparation I turned off -Werror and the compilation went all the way 
to completion. But of course if I try to compile one of my models I get 
the error:-

Does anyone have a suggestion for what move to make next??
