That's another Kaffe 1.0b4 problem -- the distributed `jar' doesn't work.
There are two solutions: 1) Install Blackdown JDK and name its jar like:
JAR=/usr/java1.2/bin/jar $SWARMSRCDIR/configure --srcdir=$SWARMSRCDIR [etc]
or 2) disable use of jar with
$SWARMSRCDIR/configure --srcdir=$SWARMSRCDIR --disable-jar [etc]
I'd say just go with #2 unless you have some need to distribute a modified
Swarm, and file-by-file .class installation is not suitable.
