IRIX and libobjc.a (where is it?)

Next problem-- I don't seem to have libobjc.a and cc1obj  on IRIX-- 
can I install that library (where do I get it?) locally?  How do I 
configure the swarm install to recognize it?  Thanks for all the 
help!
