EZBin crash on empty collection

We just learned that EZBin crashes when the list it is connected to is
empty. The error is OffsetOutOfRange in Collection.m; so apparently
EZBin is causing the list to crash. 

We're pretty sure we didn't have this problem in older versions.

I suppose we could work around by besting for an empty collection in the
update method, but that's ugly.
