I really can't get in to describing how to install Checker. It's a
complicated package with a delicate relationship to the kernel and
system libraries. I have it working on Solaris, but only after
writing numerous stubs by hand, and lots of fixes here and there.
I hope the compiler/libc people will get together some day to get a
stable system put together, but in the mean time I think the only
accessible solution is probably Purify.
However, I think it would be good to document how to get dmalloc
working with Swarm noting various contingencies. dmalloc does a lot
of what Checker does, and is much more portable. I'll take a look
at this tomorrow, probably.
