Fwiw, I just did an "apt-get upgrade" on a Debian 2.2 box and now I'm
seeing crashes in Blt_BitmapInit. Do you see something similiar from:
$ gdb .libs/heatbugs
(gdb) run
(gdb) bt
? I'm away from a Debian-based X server for a few days, but my guess is
that something changed recently in the Tcl/Tk 8.2 binaries and that
rebuilding BLT 2.4 from source using these libraries will fix the
problem.
