Dear Marcus,
mgd> Fwiw, I just did an "apt-get upgrade" on a Debian 2.2
mgd>box and now I'm seeing crashes in Blt_BitmapInit. Do
mgd>you see something similiar from:
I understand that lots of updating was taking place at the
debian site last couple of days in order to "freeze" the
potato distribution, and I usually do "apt-get -f
dist-upgrade" every two days or so to be most updated.
mgd> $ gdb .libs/heatbugs mgd> (gdb) run mgd> (gdb) bt
me>#0 0x1c in ?? ()

I don't know much about gdb, but the backtracing seems to
show that what you are saying.
mgd> ? I'm away from a Debian-based X server for a few days,
mgd>but my guess is that something changed recently in the
mgd>Tcl/Tk 8.2 binaries and that rebuilding BLT 2.4 from
mgd>source using these libraries will fix the problem.
Is SDG going to fix it? I would be most greatful if that is
so.
