swarm2.1 and gdb

I installed swarm2.1 on the RedHat6.1.
I successfully compiled and executed a program, 
for example simpleObserverBug.
But gdb dose not work.

> gdb .libs/bug
(gdb) r
Starting program: 
/home/yamasaki/swarm/app/swarmapps-2.1/tutorial/simpleObserverBug/.libs/bug 
Segmentation fault
 
I downloaded  gdb4.18 from swarm web site and recompiled it.
But it dose not work too.

Will someone please tell me how should I do ?
