Try going to the Swarm terminal and running:
$ cd /cygdrive/d/swarmapps/javaswarm/GOL_in_Swarm
$ CLASSPATH='c:\kawa322\kawaclasses.zip' jdkswarm Start
The initSwarm suggests that Swarm-2.1\bin is not in your PATH (which
jdkswarm ensures).
