If you compile that simpleExperBug with:
$ make EXTRACPPFLAGS=-DUSE_LISP
..then the file output.scm will be used instead of output.hdf.
HDF5 is has the advantage of doing random access reads and writes
using data its native format, unlike a simple text file or the
LispArchiver.
