I suggest you to compile Swarm from scratch, and not using .tar.gz 
built package.
Swarm is too much dependent on the platform and on the versions of 
the "neeeded software".
If you do not have the exact configuration of the .tar.gz maker or 
the rpm maker, you can have a few problems.
This is my opinion.
