It's have been tested on my 4.0-stable, I thinks that should work fine on
4.1-stable.
There are two directories in the tar ball: hdf5 and swarm.
Please install hdf5 first.
I assume that you have install FreeBSD Ports Collection,
which should be installed in /usr/ports.
(for more info. , see http://www.freebsd.org/ports)
I just found newer HDF5, I'll update the port later.
