Like other `dir' arguments, the value should be the directory that contains

Of course, you'll have to install libxpm. I don't know whether or not
the X server package for Mac OSX has Xpm or not.
Marcus, xpm.h is in /usr/X11R6/include/X11/ , I've tried with ./configure
--with-xpmincludedir=/usr/X11R6/ and
--with-xpmincludedir=/usr/X11R6/include, but nothing...
I had the same problem building xpce for swi-prolog. I think it could
be a "case sensitive" problem; in what kind of partitions was swarm
built successfully? in HFS or UFS?
