I don't think that would be Swarm-2.1.1 on RH7.1, but rather you have
upgraded gcc to some version 3 or after.  Part of the gcc upgrade should
cause you to put the dynamic library libgcc.so in your ld library path.
Supposing that lib is in /usr/local/lib, on my systems, that is done by
editing /etc/ld.so.conf and adding /usr/local/lib, and then running
/sbin/ldconfig.
