Swarm with Java 2 SE v1.4?

Hi all,

I'm considering upgrading my version of Java 2 from 1.3.1 to 1.4 (I'm
running Windows NT SP6).  Any ideas on whether this will have negative
impacts on Java-based Swarm (2.2 prerelease 5, I think) programs (as in,
"they won't run")?
