Hi,
I have seen various posts about Mac OS X and swarm, so I apologize if
this is repetitive. If it is, maybe we can work on a faq, or a disk
image as I suggest at the end. Anyhow, here I go, sorry if this issue
has been done to death on this list (I am new to the list).
I have been trying to install Swarm on Mac OS X (10.1.5). I was wondering
if anyone has had success with this. I have run into the problem with the
configure script not finding xpm.h (I now have xpm.h in various parts of
my hard drive). I looked at the configure script, and I can't see why it
won't find it. I have tried various command line options (--with-xpmdir=,
--with-xpmincludedir=, etc), but I always get the same error:
checking for X11/xpm.h... no
checking for xpm.h... configure: error: Cannot find xpm.h
I was wondering if anyone has had success with installing Swarm on OS X.
Maybe we could work on a faq, or maybe even a disk image, if that is
possible. I would be very willing to help with this... once I learn how
to install it on my system.
Thanks for your help.
