Re: Updates on Swarm requirements

Hi there,

I have RH 7.3 's Java packages (j2re-1_3_1_03-linux-i386-rpm, and 
j2sdk-1_3_1_03-linux-i386-rpm) installed--do they work well with Swarm? or 
I should get rid of them and install the Sun java tarball in 
/usr/local/j2sdk1.4.0? Can I find j2sdk1.4.0 from Sun's website?

Given Java installed, what I need to do is to download and install the 
following rpm's regardless of what are in "Parent Directory" in 
http://lark.cc.ku.edu/~pauljohn/Swarm/Swarm-2.2x_RPMSforRH7.3/ ?
1. hdf5-1.4.3-1RH73.i386.rpm
2. swarm-2.1.140.20020514-1.i386.rpm
3. swarm-2.1.140.20020514-1.src.rpm
4. swarm-gcjswarm-2.1.140.20020514-1.i386.rpm
5. swarm-jdk-2.1.140.20020514-1.i386.rpm
6. swarm-jdk-2.1.140.spec
7.swarm-static-2.1.140.20020514-1.i386.rpm
