[Swarm-Support] Memory

HI Swarm folks,

I have a question about freeing memory in java-swarm--what kind of actions 
would take as less memory as possible? For example, when a list is no 
longer used, then use clear() method to get rid of the elements in the 
list. Any comments or suggestions would be highly appreciated.
