This is only half an answer: the program's reaction to pushing the 'stop'
button happens
when the message 'doTKEvents' is called. In most applications, this is in
the
actionGroup
of observerSwarm, and can be found in 'buildActions'. Typically, the
actionGroup starts
with something like [super buildActions], then [modelSwarm buildActions], and
then all of
the instructions for updating observerSwarm's graphic widgets. If you can
find a way to
have [observerSwarm doTKEvents] called at any time, not just after completion
of a
modelswarm's actionGroup, then your problem would be addressed.
