If I ever get FC3 straightened out in my systems, I'll build RPMS. But
until then, I'm still building/running swarm models with the RPMS I
built on FC2. i bet you can too.
$ rpm -q swarm
swarm-2.1.150.20040413-1fc2
I've got big-time ide CDROM support problems with fc3 and I'm getting
help from the experts in the fedora-test list, but until I get that
solved, I don't think I'll put FC3 on more systems. FC3 introduced a
whole new "hardware abstraction layer" that tries to make Linux more
like MS Windows, and, like Windows, it works less reliably as a result :(

This one should be fixed in the current GCC 4.0 sources and leading edge
of 3.4 in CVS. The latter is your best bet if you want to build Swarm
using a current GCC. Also update your CVS checkout of Swarm.
