I was able to get a pretty simple package to build with no Java, native

I don't understand the mysteries enough to comment on most of this
thread, but as an active Swarm user I offer 2ยข:
a) If you can get Objective-C Swarm packaged up for yum, etc., that
would be great, especially for 64-bit. (64-bit Swarm doesn't seem likely
to ever exist in Windows, and it would be nice to have this option for
people who want to run models faster but otherwise would not venture
into Linux.)
b) One issue with recent Linux builds is that they started with Scott
Christley's source code branch, in which he re-named the class "Zone" to
"SwarmZone". That has been a mild annoyance to me (going back and forth
between Windows/MinGW and Linux). Scott- what's the situation on this?
Let us know if we can do anything to help you, Jason.
