[Swarmfest2007] Urgent Questions relating to SWARMFEST2007 Registration

  I plan to attend SWARMFEST 2007.

 

To fill in the Reg form,  I request answers to the following:

 

1)  I shall be attending the Repast Tutorial on July 12 -- this is one of the main reasons why I am coming to the SWARMFEST.

 

   So I plan to arrive there on July 11,

and stay there 3 nights -- July 11, 12, 13.      I shall leave on July 14 evening.

 

   NOTE:  3 nights , July 11 - July 13 is not one of the listed options on the form.

        It should be.  Many of us will probably be doing this.

[ Suggestion:  Please change your form to ask us to state for which nights we require acommodation, and not give restricted options. ]

2) I attended SWARMFEST 2006 at Notre Dame ( June 2006) -- this was in conjunction with NAACSOS 2006.

 

   In most such Conferences, the Reg Fee includes a year's membership.

Was this so for me last year ?

 

[ If so, am I entitled to the Member Rate for this year (SWARMFEST 2007) ?

3)  Is the Reg and Housing deadline June 11 or June 16 ?

I have seen both listed.

 

As I shall be travelling for a few days preceding June 11, it will be very helpful to know this very soon. 

   I would like to register right now, if I get the answers to my questions very soon.

4) Can you send me a preliminary list of session papers at the Conference ?

 

I would appreciate an early reply.
