Hi,
I am trying to build pdf2swf on Windows 2000. I had downloaded the source code from http://www.quiss.org/swftools/download.html as a gzip file (swftools-0.6.2.tar.gz).
The FAQ section on the site specifies that
“You need MingW (http:/ I downloaded ‘MingW’ from the above mentioned site. I also downloaded ‘Msys’ from the site. Msys gives a UNIX like environment. I started off the installation by copying the extracted source code to /swftools .‘/’ is the root directory (in my case it is C:\msys\1.0).
The following is the command that I gets formed after following instructions on the site, for building pdf2swf on Windows: -
LDFLAGS="-L/usr/local/lib" CPPFLAGS="-I. -I/usr/local/include" ./configure --host=i586-mingw32msvc && make
The following error message prevents me from building the pdf2swf code on Windows: -
checking for missing libraries... jpeglib.h *************************************************** * The following headers/libraries are missing: jpeglib.h * Disabling pdf2swf tool... * Disabling jpeg2swf tool... *************************************************** The installation of jpeg library (jpeg-6b) is however successful. Also the jpeglib.h is very much in the include path.
Can anyone point out if I am missing something trivial here?
