I have been using Magick for quite a long, i dont seem to have these problems. It works just well, but yes i make sure that the code which invokes magick does not let multiple threads enter that and yes, i am not using convert directly i am using Magick APIs to get the job done.

Actually, I'm using a Flash application converting the swf with the BitmapData class… it works! But it's not possible to use it as a server task (cron tab).

I tried to use ImageMagick before, creating jpegs from the PDF file, but the quality and colours were really bad. And the server CPU was overloaded

 

Any suggestion?
