Hiya Ric,

Using -T7 all seems aok.

With T8, T9, T10, the background white test appears to stay
put, but the red text gets displaced radially to the left,
as in back to vertical.

Interestingly, using,

  pdf2swf -T10 -s drawonlyshapes -o Pages_my.swf Pages.pdf

seems to sort it out!
