I have checked that makenfo processes things as they arrive. But the
logic is very different, since there are a few options that drive the
result (splitting,no_headers,html,docbook,xml) instead of the possibility
to fine-tune some maps and redefine some function references.
Still I'll try to have formats redefine everything instead of modifying
only what they need to.
