Hello everyone,
I have been reviving the bug tracker on savannah these last few days in
the hope of turning TeXmacs into a more reliable piece of software. To
that end I obviously need a lot of help, so:
1) Everyone is invited to fix bugs!
Please visit the bug tracker when you have time and take on any bug that
takes your fancy. If you work on a particular issue, please post an
according comment on the tracker so as to avoid duplication of work.
2) Who can I assign bugs to?
I am not competent to fix most of the bugs that come up. So, to get the
bug-fixing off the ground I need to know who of the more regular TeXmacs
developers knows which part of the code so that I can ask the right
people.
If you are willing to have bugs assigned to you:
* become a project member on savannah and
* briefly tell me your area of expertise
Most of the recent bug reports on the tracker fall into the categories
* crashes (segfaults) while editing
* latex conversion
* stylesheet problems
@Joris: Could you please make a habit of visiting the tracker once in a
while and checking the patches attached to those bug reports that are
marked Open+Fixed? If you deem them worthy please apply the patches and
close the issue.
@Joris/Henri: How do I subscribe to address@hidden
Thanks,
Felix
