Yes,
specifically the problem lies in \; which if removed crashes texmacs. If you remove it on the file (manually) then the file crashes texmacs on loading.

I will file a report.

Yes, something similar happened to all my documents at a certain point, but the bug has vanished as magically as it appears. No idea what happened,
but it seems that the bug is no longer there...

it loads fine but if you press backspace it crashes texmacs.
