All problems apart from the cwdaemon seems to have been sorted out. Did as follows after advice from group members.

1. Removed Tlf - sudo make uninstall
2. Removed compiled hamlib - sudo make uninstall
3. Reinstalled hamlib dev packaged from repositories
4. Compiled tlf with hamlib support - no problems reported

So far so good - tlf working with rigsupport and correct use of function keys.

Now to the cwdaemon problem.

1. Checked that cwdaemon was running - ok
2. Checked cwdaemon with nc -u localhost 6789 - ok
3. Started cqrlog - checked keying via cwdaemon - ok
4. Closed cqrlog - should not be necessary
5. Started tlf - reports cwdaemon opened - but no output keying - keyed text shown
6. Checked nc -u localhost 6789 - no keying

Tried same after restart but wo cqrlog and direct start of tlf - same result no keying

Took a restart of pc, then killed cwdaemon and restarted cwdaemon and used -n option. Checked with nc -u localhost 6789 - all ok.

Started tlf - result no keying. See excerpt from cwdaemon -n window:
address@hidden:~$ sudo cwdaemon -n

First a and Last 2 XX is from a recheck with nc -u localhost 6789. The tlf output starts at reset all values.

Any tips for further checking? I am lost for advices here.
