thanks, i know about avrdude, but I'm using tinyos, and tinyos devs  
patched uisp for some of the platforms supported,
many of tinyos scrips uses this uisp, it would be nice to have upstream 
uisp to support those platforms.
Another option would be of course to port those patches to avrdude, but 
that's probably
quite some work ... maybe i will end up in adding support myself ...
anyway, if you know someone willing to add support, i will be happy to 
do the testing
