I have that file, I always liked that logo and I'm using it :) The fact that it
is metafont is a plus, and I will look at your page because I'm sure that as
always I will find food for thought there.

Ehe, agreed; but the thing is, I will pick beauty of design over marketing
without any doubt, but having bout doesn't hurt, really :) And 'marketing' in
this case is only my atempt to 'build' a suitable logo for the page (that you
will see first hand since your the one with the huge amounts of nice contents,
after all the 'juice' of every page); why don't I use the Hurd logo alone?
Well, I guess I could... but to me the Hurd is above all the GNU OS, and so I
would like to make that explicit in some kind of logo (mind you, I'm talking
about the one at that specific page, I'm not proposing nothing official!); you
will be pleased to hear that both the logos I'm focusing are originally
black&white, so even if I add color I will also make a b&w version and it will
be overall sober and simple.

As a side issue, and as you know, my box went down (do you remember, HD began
making noises and after some time I kicked the hell out of it?) but fortunatly
not all is lost, they are screwing the damn thing together (anyway, I had
backups of the layout), still, some things I will have to redo in my other box.

I will try do deliver ASAP, I'm working on it as we speak (or as we write...er,
whatever).

best regards (e um abraço),

fsm
