Oh, sorry. I checked this out in the code, and thought I saw this was
already done. But that was only for the output to the xterm. Not for the
input. And I had not actually tried it.

I pushed two more commits to hgm.nubati.net. (For some reason I suddenly
cannot push to Savannah anymore; it complains I have no permission to
unpack objects.) The last one suppresses the EOF-from-keyboard error when
the ICS Chat window is up. I have now actually tested this, with the
command

./xboard -ics -icshost winboard.nl -icsUp true </dev/null >/dev/null &

This works, and allows me to log on to the ICS through the chat window.
(Before the patch, or with -icsUp false it gave the EOF error.) It gives
some error messages about invalid ioctl calls in the xterm, but apparently
these are not fatal, and when there is no console at all I suppose the
error messages cannot be seen either. (stderr would be closed.)
