It wasn't my aim to create such a long thread, I apologize for that.

Of course it would be a dream to me to have XFree GPL'ed, maybe because I tend 
to use mostly GPL/OSL software and the fact that I "can" use proprietary 
software together with XFree makes me think that if it was GPL that would 
have never happened. The less freeness of GPL would "force" other people to 
adopt it and release source code to be able to satisfy users.

Now it's really time to go to bed I guess (7 am ARGH!)
