The attached patch should fix the error you found out more correctly
(user defined @-macro taking no argument should have empty {}, like @PreTeX{}).
Also I completly removed the @LaTeX macro definition since it is in
the texinfo language since quite a long time now. If using a user defined
macro is preferred (for example to cope with very old texinfo), the name of
the macro should be changed.
