I changed the log output format slightly, so that it's a space-delimited, non-formatted output, so that it's easy to import and convert using gnuplot;
I used a human readable format ("10 kB" instead of "10000") mainly because it was the format used by the original patch from Alexander, but surely it is more useful to print the numbers non-formatted. And maybe even more human readable also (if one is seeking variations in the read rate, I mean), except for the time part.
Is gnuplot able to skip comment lines in the data file? If it is, I could convert the heading line to a comment as a reminder for the user of the meanings of columns.
It also could improve legibility to use a minimum width for fields: 0 0x0000000000 0 0 0 0 1 0x0000110000 1114112 1114112 0 0 2 0x0000390000 2621440 1867776 0 0 3 0x0000B90000 8388608 4041386 0 0Or should I forget about humans reading those files and make them easily machine parsable as you propose?

Nice result. :-) Best regards, Antonio.
