Hi, Attached are 4 patches for GNU ed that we carry in Debian GNU/Linux. It'd be lovely if you could consider them for inclusion. In detail: The first is from Matt Kraai <address@hidden> and is a cleanup of ed.1 to fix rendering and other issues:
03_ed.1-cleanup.dpatch
Description: ed.1 cleanup
The second is from Colin Watson <address@hidden> and is a patch to avoid groff warnings when rendering ed.1 (cf. #179957):
05_ed.1-warning-fix.dpatch
Description: ed.1 warning fix
The third is from Joel Baker <address@hidden> and makes the testsuite exit with an error if there are errors (which we want so that our automated package build will fail and not produce a broken package, cf. #130327).
06_testsuite-Makefile.dpatch
Description: make testsuite exit on errors
Last, and presumably least controversially is a patch from A Costa <address@hidden> and Matt Taggart <address@hidden> to fix 3 trivial spelling errors in the ed manpage:
07_ed.1-spelling-fixes.dpatch
Description: ed.1 spelling fixes
All the #nnnnnn references in the files refer to Debian bugs, you can see information about the specific bug by visting: http://bugs.debian.org/<nnnnnn> Please let me know if you have any comments or questions on/about the patches. Thanks. -- James
