Hello GMP Gnu folks,
Perhaps my email is naive from its inception.
However, humor me. I work on Microsoft OS's as a matter of how I feed my
family. I also happen to enjoy playing with prime numbers and other such
matters. I used the Google search engine to find the GMP web site and am
intrigued with the tools there. I also found useful tools on the
PerfectScience web site. My immediate challenge is to compute an estimate
of an infinite series representing the density of prime numbers.
I would love to use the GMP library for this.
However it would take me at least a week of very hard, and irrelevant work to go
from Unix make files to something that would compile on a say Win 2000
platform. I know there are "political" beefs between Gnu and anything
Microsoft. Your instructions mention MS Dos solutions.
Do you have any knowledge of a version that will
make under something available on Win 2000?
Thanks for your time,
John Roye
