To clarify: GNE intends to be a repository of freely available (that
is, FDL-licensed) written work. You may write anything you like.
There will be classification systems in place which allow third
parties to make classifications of the content; one of these might
prefer encyclopedia-like articles.
If you are writing an article, consider (also) submitting it to
Nupedia (http://www.nupedia.com) which has a much more well-defined
editorial policy. There articles are also licensed under the FDL.
