I just took it from the list Chris Mahan was building.
I'm not the man to ask... if anybody can make a better
language list, make it available! And I don't think
Chris has put in all the languages anyway. After about
"E" it fizzles out into major languages.

I can only see two solutions to this, regardless of
the moderation system:

1) Let any articles in if they're written in a
language  we don't know. But then somebody could
translate it via babelfish into portugese and get in
rubbish just to gain moderator status.

2) Ask people to try and submit in languages we can
understand for the moment. I think we will have to
look for some large-scale support on the outset to
increase our language capacity beyond english/
spanish/ french/ german, which is fine for now but in
the future we will get people who will want articles
in the world's most spoken language, chinese, and in
the hundreds of other languages out there.
