Details:

 
After an analyze, the output is visible in an output window. The same
information can be found in the file psppire.txt. When the output window is
closed, the file psppire.txt is locked until psppire is closed. A second
analyze is not possible, most likely because the file psppire.txt is locked by
psppire itself.

I can only reproduce this on the MS-Windows platform.
